iBot2000 is the first integrated robot directory in the world. Specifically designed to help students, teachers and parents learn the difference between real and fantasy robots plus their developing role in the twenty first century.

Our second goal was to present this information in the most exciting way possible, so we designed our very own virtual robot and we call her Crystal, she is also powered with the state of the art text to speech engine from Loqendo, for the best possible clarity and personality.

We did not stop there, Crystal is not just good looking she has also an amazing brain, in fact she has over 22,000 pieces of information that is dedicated for general conversation alone.

So as you can see iBot2000 is an intelligent robot directory, where your child can not only discover the amazing world of robotics each week, they can also interact with our beautiful host Crystal and when you need more information about any particular robot it’s just one click away, it’s that simple.

Tony Dyson (the author) felt it was extremely difficult for teachers and parents to be fully informed about the amazing fast developments in the field of Robotics, but without this information how can they possibly encourage their children to pursue a career in Robotics and the Sciences. That was and still is, the inspiration behind iBot2000 project.
